James was born on December 14, 1932 and passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018.

James was a resident of Royal Oak, Michigan at the time of passing.

He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in education from Western Michigan University.

Jim joined the marines and became a pilot and served 4 years in active duty and many years in the reserves, retiring as a Major.
