Roy J. Moses, 87, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2017.

He was born December 29, 1929 in Roseburg, Michigan to the late Roy P. and Olive Moses. He married Frieda J. Krampien on February 9, 1957. She preceded him in death on March 15, 2001.

Roy served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Alaska. He was employed with St. Clair County Community College until his retirement in June 1996. He attended Ross Bible Church and enjoyed woodworking, biking, walking and making quilts for his grandchildren. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and sharing his faith in Christ with others.

He is survived by his sons, Barry (Tina) Moses and Mark (Kristine) Moses; grandchildren, Amanda Moses, Jennifer (Aaron) Johnson, Melissa (Steven) Nichols, Benjamin Moses and Molly Moses; great grandchildren, Dominick Moses and Adrianne Johnson; brother, Charles Moses; sisters, Jeline King, Doris Middleton and Melva Jean (Doug) Ostrander; sisters-in-law, Pauline, Joan and Virginia Moses; brother-in-law, Al Brozowski; and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his brothers, Kenneth, Wayne, Wesley, John and Hal Moses; sisters, Dorothy (Harley) Piper, Corabella (Fred) Graham and Crystal Brozowski; sisters-in-law, Geraldine, Colleen and Marline Moses; and brothers-in-law, Shirley King and Larry Middleton.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Ross Bible Church. Pastor Steve Scott will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Moses, David King, Wayne Moses, Doug Ostrander, Kevin Krohn and Steven Nichols. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
